Addiction Seekers Featuring Manoli -

A power house band with tremendous creative genius. Straight ahead Rock and Roll, a bit punkish, totally rough arund the edges in sound yet executed beautifully. This was one of my all time favorite projects. These two tracks are upconverted from Atrac compression type III, recorded on a Yamaha MD4 I had sold to the boys.  They recorded it but not to broadcast standard.  They would bring the machine (4 tracks) and I'd record in real time to an Akai DPS 12 thru tube pre-amps. They would go home. I would then by eye, do the same thing with the next tracks. This way they recorded then bounced but didn't re- compress a compressed format. I would have their one time compression
master tracks that I would mix and co-produce. Four tracks were recorded for a BMG rep.  The project may be unfinished but here's some great examples mastered in 2012. Man do they sound good! - "Elijah"

Also note the below first Addiction Seekers record, I upconverted and mixed as well as mastered and enhanced with fx. Enjoy! - Cory Dow as "Elijah"

Hollow -

I met this band @ a sound check for anther band I was producing. They were surprised that in the same old club with the same old gear I was getting theses great tones. They signed on for one tune "American Arrogance" I hated the initial vocal presentation ideas but heard what you now hear. David Griffin's performance (with my great coaching and his many ideas) resulted in my careful re-phrasing of the B word. David loved my hhb's mic pre's and how we could distort. ..AND SO WE DID! I lined up the delays as each one came. What a masterpiece. It appears in a compilation mastered poorly. This is the official mastered product. I brought out the toms and kick. I gave days of consideration not minutes to the sonic properties and forged a great hot new sound. One of the reverbs was tweaked over the course of three days. The initial song was produced and recorded over a one month period...you can hear it. This resulted in the album Hollow Deadly Sounds. I recorded and mixed on the mobile. David and I shall be meeting soon to do further work.

Hatebody -

A great sounding hard edge band. Call it what you want it's metal to the highest and darkest degree. Randall Daigle gave incredible takes over and over. I blew my AKG C-3000B's a couple times each during the recording of the incredible debut album. Rick Diagle used his Heavy metal strats into my Laney Pro-Tube lead head and celestion cabinet. Double tracked guitars stereo mics lots of phase play and voila...Tones to make you beg for more. No cheesy effects all nearly dry. I recently mastered this stuff to the IHoldings Ltd. standard...I gave this a Helluva finger print.)

Happy Medium -

This song took 52 tracks to get to what you're hearing. I produced this song with Happy Medium. They had a pre-producer. I forget who. I wrote the mid section vocal change (from 3 tied notes to 2 equal duration whole notes so he didn't sound like he was yodelling. Alex Kehleher carefully crowded in the room encouraging the vocalist. I forced a laney pro tube lead and celestion cabinet on the fellahs and told them to go direct to the amp with no effects!!!I I wrote the outringing triad at the end to give it a Townsend style windmill drone effect. Beautiful Martin accoustic in there! A great sweep left to right with opposing reverb panning on the voc piece that I wrote. So enjoy! It was featured on a compilation released by a competitor.) This is my remastered version of the original with many enhancements with the official iheartholdings ltd. finger print. This song took 30 days to record and was mixed during a 24hr mixathon.

Saa Andrew Gbongbor -

Andrew is a one of a kind sensation. From Sierra Leone this King of Dance hall teamed up with Me on Drums with rhythmic coaching from Saa Andrew. I used some vintage synth stuff and retro Bass tones as well as my Laney Pro Tube Lead & Celestial Cab. All improve with brand new mastering for 2012. Listen to Hector and Andrew's trade offs. Creole rules!
